The 808 was conceived as an amphibious sport vehicle. This designs begins with a unique hexagonal section along the length of the vehicle to allow ground clearance. This tapered design also keeps the floor of the vehicle elevated above the waterline. The sealed tub underneath the floor houses the fuel tanks and jet pump drives isolates the crew cabin from the mechanical sections. Gull wing doors are notoriously dangerous in rollover situation, due to greater chances for entrapment. The rear mid-gate provides an alternate escape and flip up window can act as a windshield for the rear cargo area.

For combat purposes, the design offers a blast resistant Kevlar body and bullet proof windows. The sealed engine bay and double wall construction increase survivability for the occupants while the gull wings provide overhead cover from urban rooftop ambushes.
