Gatlin

The Gatlin utilizes a rotary cannon approach to rapidly change the focal length of the beam at different ranges. The six barrels rotate on a common carousel, each carrying a lens at different lengths down the barrel. This effectively allows a laser pistol with several different hot points along the beam path. This would be similar to a linear shotgun.
